Red cards, timeout, 403, TLS, or “update failed” mean the feed download failed. If update “succeeds” with zero nodes, use no nodes instead.
Change one variable: network → URL → update-via-proxy → headers → logs (logs).
Quick error table
| Error | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| timeout / reset | Network can’t reach the feed host | Hotspot, DNS, or update-via-proxy once a node works |
| 403 / 401 | Expired link, block, UA/IP limit | Get a backup URL |
| TLS / certificate | Wrong clock, HTTPS inspection, MITM | Fix system time first |
Triage by error
- timeout / reset: this network can’t reach the feed host—hotspot, DNS, or update-via-proxy once you have a working node.
- 403 / 401: expired link, block, or UA/IP limits—get a backup URL.
- TLS / certificate: wrong clock, HTTPS inspection, or MITM—fix time first.
Update via proxy
Use it when the feed host is blocked but you already have a usable node. With zero/all-red nodes it can’t help—change network or use a browser-reachable backup. Basics: setup.
Provider vs client
Panel downloads but client fails: you may have copied a marketing page, not the API URL, or added whitespace. Aggressive auto-update can rate-limit you (CPU/RAM). Providers: choose a provider.
Acceptance
Builds: download center.
