PC Clash Verge Rev already works; the phone should not need a second full setup. On the same Wi‑Fi, enable Allow LAN and point the phone's Wi‑Fi proxy at the PC LAN IP plus the mixed port. The phone then sends its traffic through the PC's Clash instance exactly as if it were another tab on the desktop.
Prove the PC path first—a broken PC proxy cannot be rescued by LAN sharing. Diagnose with system proxy and latency. For using a real mobile client instead, see the mobile overview.
What Allow LAN actually does
Allow LAN opens the mixed port on the machine's LAN interface instead of loopback only. Without it, the port answers 127.0.0.1 and silently refuses anything arriving from the phone's IP. With it on, any device on the same subnet can use the PC as its proxy—which is convenient at home and a risk on public Wi‑Fi (see the security section).
Enable and fill
- Turn on Allow LAN in Clash Verge.
- Find the PC LAN IP—the address on your subnet, not a public IP. On Windows run
ipconfigand read the IPv4 address under the active adapter; on macOS/Linux useifconfigorip a. It usually looks like192.168.x.xor10.x.x.x. - On the phone, open Wi‑Fi settings → the connected network → configure proxy → manual. Host = PC LAN IP, port = mixed port (read it off the UI, never guess—port conflicts).
- Browse on the phone; the PC Connections view should show hits from the phone's IP.
If it fails
| Cause | Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Guest Wi‑Fi client isolation | Phone cannot reach PC IP at all | Use your own router, not a coffee-shop captive portal |
| Firewall inbound block | PC shows no hits; connection refused | Allow the mixed port inbound on the private profile |
| Allow LAN off | Works on PC, dead on phone | Toggle Allow LAN on, re-check |
| Wrong port | Connection refused | Use the mixed port, not the API or core port |
| PC proxy itself broken | Phone and PC both fail | Fix egress first via system proxy |
Logs help pinpoint which: logs. Single-site issues after connecting: sites blocked. Slow throughput: slow speed.
Tun and AI
Allow LAN feeds phone traffic into the PC Clash instance. Tun on the PC does not replace typing the Wi‑Fi proxy on the phone—Tun captures the PC's own traffic, not a remote device's. For routing AI traffic through this shared path, see Tun & AI.
Allow LAN vs a mobile subscription
At home, Allow LAN is the fastest way to give the phone egress. Away from the PC, use a mobile client plus your subscription instead—Allow LAN only works while you sit on the same network as the PC. Because Allow LAN exposes the proxy port on the LAN, avoid it on untrusted Wi‑Fi; a stranger on that network could route through your PC.
Security hardening
- Only enable Allow LAN on networks you trust.
- Disable it the moment you leave the trusted network; it is not needed day to day.
- If your build supports a binding address or auth, restrict the port to your subnet rather than
0.0.0.0. - Treat the shared proxy as your own egress: phone traffic now rides your node and your IP reputation.
